1-2-1 mentoring

Our dedicated mentor lead Tom and the team bring together a combined 20 years of experience working with children and young people, giving them a deep understanding of the challenges, aspirations, and unique needs of those aged 7–16. Their background spans education, personal development, and community engagement, allowing them to create safe, supportive environments where young people can thrive. This wealth of experience means they are not only skilled in mentoring but also in tailoring approaches that resonate with each individual, ensuring that every child feels valued and empowered.

The 1-to-1 mentoring service they deliver is designed to be flexible, engaging, and practical. Recognising that every young person learns and grows differently, Tom and team offer a wide range of activities that go beyond traditional mentoring. Whether it’s walking in the hills to encourage reflection and resilience, going shopping to build independence and everyday life skills, visiting community centres to foster social awareness and connection, or engaging in gym work to promote health and confidence, each session is carefully chosen to suit the needs and interests of the child. These experiences are not just activities—they are opportunities to develop confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills in real-world settings.
