Outdoor Exploration Programmes

The Outdoor Explorations Programme (OEP) is a partnership between Nature Beanz Adventures & Werneth Low Country Park. OEP combines place-based nature studies with experiential learning, community-building, and self-discovery. The program is conducted school year-round (weather permitting) at schools and werneth low country park.

A variety of activities, challenges, projects and explorations help participants build nature knowledge, self-awareness, and outdoor skills.

We offer two programmes at Werneth Low County Park which include our Hike and Learn Award and Wildlife Discovery Award:

Hike and Learn Award

Get your students excited about learning with our Hike and Learn program. Our outdoor education program includes interactive lessons that teach valuable map reading and navigation skills. Then, we take our new skills on a hike to a beautiful country park, where we celebrate our achievements with an award presentation. It’s the perfect way to combine education and adventure and create an experience that your students will treasure.

Wildlife Discovery Award

At our Outdoor Education centre, we offer a holistic approach to wildlife discovery. Our wildlife discovery programme is designed to help you explore the park's breathtaking beauty while learning about different wildlife species.
