Adventure Outdoor
With Nature Beanz Adventures

Wild Academy CIC
At Wild Academy CIC, we believe in the power of the outdoors to inspire, educate and connect people. We are a community-focused organisation delivering outdoor education, sports, and nature-based projects that support children, young people, families and vulnerable adults
Supporting Inclusive and Healthy Outdoor Lives
Being outside is good for us, and we all deserve the chance to live well in the outdoors. Research shows that regular time outside not only supports mental, social and educational outcomes, but also plays a vital role in tackling childhood obesity and encouraging lifelong healthy habits. With obesity levels at record highs, especially among children, creating opportunities for active play, gardening, and movement outdoors has never been more important.
Through outdoor adventure, sport, play and education, we promote active lifestyles that build strength, coordination and confidence, while giving people the chance to connect with nature. We explore our sensory worlds, take healthy risks, and learn experientially—by doing, feeling, and discovering first-hand.
Our Community
At Wild Academy CIC, we want our communities to have real access to good outdoor lives – spaces where people can come together and share the many benefits of nature. We know that getting outdoors isn’t always easy for everyone, so we make it our mission to break down barriers and create inclusive opportunities for all to enjoy green spaces.
Place matters to communities, which is why we bring outdoor learning and activity right to people’s doorsteps as well as to special wild spaces further afield. Through youth projects, community feasts, gardening, play, walks, campouts, expeditions, outdoor cooking and adventures big and small, we create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to connect with nature, with each other, and with themselves.

Social Goals
WILD = Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Learning, Development
At Wild Academy CIC, our core mission is to support people in low-income and deprived communities to access the benefits of the outdoors and lead healthier, more connected lives. By removing financial and social barriers, we open up opportunities for everyone to take part in outdoor learning, play and adventure. This focus on inclusion ensures that those who need it most—families on low incomes, vulnerable individuals, and under-resourced communities—can experience the wellbeing, skills and confidence that time in nature brings
Future Project:
Nature Hub & Community Garden
Many of the young people and families we work with lack access to safe green spaces, opportunities to learn practical skills, or places that bring people together. At the same time, schools and community groups are seeking more outdoor learning opportunities and nature-focused activities. Our project is to transform an underused outdoor garden space into a community garden and nature hub that will support health, learning, and social connection.
