As part of the Nature Beanz Adventures we have planned a series of activities and visits which could include adventurous and outdoor activities. All staff have and fully accept, a duty of care to make those activities as safe as is reasonably practical. However, adventurous activities are inherently hazardous and cannot be completely risk free however hard we try. Accidents can happen without any contributory negligence from Nature Beanz or its staff.

Moreover, the environment we use is such that we cannot “fence off” all hazardous areas.  Your child must therefore help our staff to look after their safety by listening carefully to instructions, by doing what they are asked to do and by not being reckless. Only give your consent if you are confident that they will behave responsibly in this way. Nature Beanz Adventures can accept no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property or for personal injury not arising as a result of its own action

Admissions & Suitability Statement

Nature beanz Adventures is a small-group, alternative provision with defined staffing ratios and risk management procedures. Due to the nature of the environment and activities, we are unable to accept all referrals.

All applications are subject to a full review of documentation, risk assessment, and consideration of whether the provision can safely and appropriately meet the young person’s needs. Placement will only be offered where Nature Beanz is satisfied that risks can be effectively managed within available staffing, resources, and safeguarding arrangements.

Nature Beanz Adventures will not offer or continue a placement where a young person presents a level of behavioural, medical, therapeutic, or supervision need that exceeds the capacity of the provision, or where there is a significant risk to the safety and wellbeing of the young person, peers, or staff.

Nature Beanz reserves the right to decline, review, suspend, or withdraw a placement at its discretion where it determines that needs cannot be safely met
